On October 8, 2026, SAP announced that its new AI orchestration tool Joule Work will become available to all customers later this month. The announcement also confirms SAP Reltio is now generally available in SAP Business Data Cloud and SAP AI Agent Hub is now generally available. Joule Studio, the custom agent builder, is soon to be generally available.

- SAP Joule Work will become available to all customers later in October 2026. The tool offers natural-language interaction with SAP S/4HANA and other business data.
- SAP Reltio is now generally available in SAP Business Data Cloud. It provides a single trusted view of customers, suppliers, products, and employees across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- SAP AI Agent Hub is now generally available. It helps organizations govern every agent, LLM, and MCP server across SAP and non-SAP environments. New SAP Signavio Agent Mining capabilities measure agent outcomes.
- Joule Studio, the custom agent builder, is soon to be generally available. Constellation Research benchmarking says it is more than five times faster than do-it-yourself options. KNAPP used it: issue resolution times fell by about 90 % and documentation/training times by about 80 %.
03 Why it matters
This rollout is a significant expansion of SAP Business AI Platform. For practice: natural-language interfaces, unified data, and agent governance. Early adopter Reinhausen reported substantial momentum gains; its Director of Complexity Management, Peter Wied, said that, inside the Joule Work Desktop Early Adopter Program, the partnership delivered more momentum in a few months than in all previous years.
