01 What happened
SAP Cloud Identity Services tenants can now be provisioned through self-service in SAP for Me, eliminating the need for support tickets. Administrators must first check for existing tenants and choose the appropriate flow.
02 Key details
- SAP Cloud Identity Services tenants can be requested via self-service in SAP for Me by SAP administrators and S-user holders without a support ticket. New tenants are created only if no existing tenant is bound to your Customer ID; if one exists, go directly to the Administration Console.
- In the Portfolio & Products flow, the Create Solution wizard requires a unique Name of max 63 characters using lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens and periods only, starting and ending with a letter or number, plus a resource-group Path and Business Type of Test or Production.
- Flow B auto-creates an SAP Cloud Identity Services tenant when you provision an application and none exists. If the Start Provisioning button is disabled, automatic tenant creation is unavailable, so request the tenant manually in the SAP BTP cockpit first.
03 Why it matters
This change simplifies tenant provisioning for SAP administrators, reducing manual requests and enabling faster setup of authentication and SSO across SAP cloud solutions.
04 Who it matters to
