02 Key details
- Custom data products in SAP Datasphere / SAP BDC are managed from the My Data Products page under Utilities → Data Sharing Cockpit → My Data Products. It is a page in the Data Sharing Cockpit, not a standalone app.
- A Formation custom data product starts in Draft, is not visible in the Catalog & Marketplace, and can be switched to Listed or deleted.
- A Listed product is live in the Catalog & Marketplace; the only allowed provider transitions are to Delisted and Blocked by SAP.
- Deleted is terminal; the product's technical name cannot be reused after deletion.
- Formation products do not have a Deactivated status; this applies to Public Data Marketplace products.
